Men’s Mental Health Month: A Father’s Love Isn’t Always Felt Right Away

During Men’s Mental Health Month, I felt called to reflect on the often misunderstood nature of a father's love. Unlike the immediate comfort we associate with a nurturing mother, a father’s love can take years to fully understand. Many men express love through structure, discipline, and presence. Forms of love that don’t always feel warm in the moment, but reveal their depth over time. An aligned father is emotionally grounded and spiritually aware. He guides from integrity, protects without controlling, and creates safe boundaries that empower rather than restrict. His love may not always be spoken, but it is felt in the steady way he shows up.

This message is a reminder that love doesn’t always arrive with softness. It sometimes stands guard. In honor of Men’s Mental Health Awareness, I created a soul-centered video exploring the emotional landscape of fatherhood, the definition of an aligned father, and why that kind of love is so often misunderstood and underrated. Whether you are a father, the child of one, or someone healing from generational patterns, this reflection is for you. Let it open a conversation about the emotional well-being of men, the power of masculine protection, and the importance of recognizing love in all its forms. Watch now on my YouTube channel and share with someone who needs it.
